Northern Engineering and Consulting, Inc. (NECI) is a multi-state firm providing professional engineering, surveying, and planning services for our clients in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming.  We are currently seeking a registered professional civil engineer in our Billings, Montana office.  This position will be responsible for the design of civil engineering projects in Montana and Wyoming. 

All successful candidates shall possess the following traits:  good communication and teamwork skills, self-motivation, and a willingness to grow.  We are looking for a professional who wants to be part of a growing office, with an opportunity for future advancement.  Minimum requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, four to seven years of experience and professional registration in the state of Montana and or Wyoming.

Anticipated duties include activities associated with civil engineering projects such as completing engineering analysis and calculations; preparing contract specifications, reports, feasibility studies and cost estimates; and developing construction plans and specifications, and oversight of construction activities.  Likely project areas include rural water distribution, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, water resources, site development, and construction administration.
