Northern Engineering and Consulting, Inc. (NECI) is a multi-state firm providing professional engineering, surveying, and planning services for our clients in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming.  We are currently seeking a registered professional surveyor for our Billings, Montana office.  This position will be responsible for survey activities in Montana and Wyoming. 

All successful candidates shall possess the following traits:  good communication and teamwork skills, self-motivation, and a willingness to grow.  We are looking for a professional who wants to be part of a growing office, with an opportunity for future advancement.  Minimum requirements include being a licensed professional surveyor in Montana, a minimum of two years professional experience, and credentials as a Certified Federal Surveyor (CFedS) or a ability to get certified within 6 months.

Anticipated duties include leading survey crews, performing assignments including topographic surveys, construction staking, legal boundary line surveys, and other surveys required for civil engineering projects.  The successful candidate must be willing to travel to projects located in remote areas of Montana and Wyoming and be motivated to work with the latest in surveying technology including GNSS GPS units, Robotic Total Stations, Scanners, and AutoCAD Civil 3D 2011.
